A 10-run second lifted Perry, which sent 12 batters to the plate. Trinity Odom and Sofie Siemen each had two hits for Perry, Sydnee McElveen with a 3-for-3 night for Howard. The Huskies (8-8/5-4) host West Laurens on Thursday while the Panthers (16-5/8-1) host Marion County on Wednesday.

The Trojans led 9-0 after two en route to the four-inning win, helped by four Viking errors. Brianna Logue had three hits and two RBI for Tattnall, with two hits from Gradie Appling, Lindsey Paul, Isabellie Pecorilli, Callie Still, and Molly Kemp. Addison Arnold, Sarah Grace Strickland, and Alanna Ray had two hits each for FPD.

Heath had seven aces and Whitehead six in the nightcap, Wilson with five kills and Stuart McCurry four, Olive Deese with 10 assists for the night. ACE improved to 24-4 overall and 8-0 in region action, and hosts Northeast and Cook County on Tuesday.
