          Jada Jackson and Telecia Taylor had 12 points each for the Chargers, teaming for nine steals and 11 rebounds. Courtnie Stephens added 10 points and Brook Talton nine rebounds.

          Everybody scored, led by Destanee Wright’s 22 points and Europe Brown’s 20. Shauna Coley added 17, Kylie Hart 11, and Kaonta Goolsby 10. Dodge County advances to the finals of the Metter tournament.

          The Demons trailed after one, but won the next three quarters. Jacobi Coleman went for 28 and Shamar Rouse for 24 for the Demons, now 8-3 and set to play Cedar Grove 1 p.m. Saturday at Allatoona. Ty Carr added 12 for the Demons, who got three 3-pointers from Coleman.

          The trio of Jamarius Dixon, Jawan Dukes, and Jay Sanders teamed for 38 points and 22 rebounds, led by Dixon’s 15 points for the 8-4 Golden Hawks.

Westside 75, Whitefield Academy 46

          Kowacie Reeves keyed the Seminole attack with 19 points, Javian Mosley getting 17 points and seven boards. Zaylon Carey had 16 and 6. Westside plays Henry County Saturday night.
