Dozens of Central Georgia high school football players still suited up, for all-star games

          Late December means all sorts of things, and it means more high school football with all-star games.

          Rising seniors, juniors, and sophomores will compete in the Georgia Elite Classic. There are also freshman and middle school games in the Georgia Elite Classic group.

          The seniors play Friday at 10 a.m., followed by the juniors at 3 p.m. and the sophomores at 8 p.m., games at McEachern.

          The Georgia Junior Bowl is Sunday at 2 p.m. at Lakewood Stadium in Atlanta.

          The GACA games are Saturday at Ray Manus Stadium in Roswell, starting at 11 a.m. with the senior game, followed by juniors and sophomores. The GACA, as of 11 p.m. Friday, has yet to make any rosters public.
