Tuesday's Braves Report: Sanchez leaves early, offense comes up short
Bullpen forced into early action, offense struggles
Anibal Sanchez had to leave in the fifth inning with a leg cramp, and Atlanta’s extended bullpen went to work early. But the offense didn’t help, and Cincinnati beat the Braves 5-3.
Cincy stranded 10 runners to eight for Atlanta, each team getting 10 hits. The Braves missed nice opportunities in the loss, the Reds taking just enough advantage.

The Braves have hit a MLB-high five walk-off homers (tied w/ the Cardinals). This is the ninth time in franchise history (seventh time in ATL history) they've reached this mark. The franchise record (7) was set in 1971 (Aaron 2, Evans, Garr, Lum, Millan, Versalles)/MB
Ozzie Albies had 2 doubles & game-ending homer Monday night, his 10th game this season with multiple extra-base hits. The Atlanta #Braves single-season record is 17 such games, set by Chipper in 1999 and matched by Javy Lopez in 2003./DOB

Don't think I've ever seen any pitcher with reverse splits quite as severe as #Braves lefty reliever Jesse Biddle: RHB have hit just .094 (6-for-64) with 1 extra-base hit and a .326 OPS against him; lefties have hit .371 (13-for-35) with 6 XBH and a 1.178 OPS./DOB
