A winning streak? That’s what Macon is on
Hitting first certainly agreed with Zach Weisz on Monday, his double bringing in Keaton Weisz with the game-winning run in Macon’s 5-4 walk-off win over Lexington County in Coastal Plain action at Luther Williams.
Zach Weisz went 2-for-5 and Keaton Weisz 3-for-4 with three RBI, Riley King adding two hits – including a homer - and two runs.
Isaac Hale, the fourth Macon pitcher of the night, got the win, getting out of a jam in the top of the ninth after two Bacon errors.
Macon hosts Gastonia Tuesday night and is at Savannah on Wednesday before hosting Lexington County on Thursday at 5;30 p.m. for a doubleheader.
