Tattnall, FPD players honored by Macon Touchdown Club

          Players from Tattnall and FPD are the latest Macon Touchdown Club players of the week.

          Back: Senior back Antone Johnson ran 22 times for 197 yards and four touchdowns in Tattnall’s 33-22 win at Strong Rock. He also completed two passes for 45 yards, and had four tackles.

Lineman: FPD senior center and defensive lineman Carson Smith graded out at 92 percent on offense as the Vikings racked up 488 rushing yards in the 47-0 win at Pinewood Christian. He had a tackle and tackle for loss on defense.

Special teams: Senior Carson Burnett of Tattnall averaged  50 yards on three punts, was 2 for 3 on PATs, and had a touchback.

          The trio will be honored Monday night at the Club’s second meeting, featuring Macon native and Mount de Sales grad Chris Hatcher of  Samford as the speaker.
