Dylan Koontz went 5 for 5 for 12-1 Forest City.

GMC takes second in NJCAA golf championship again
Georgia Military College JC has good men’s golf team, and a consistent one.
For the second straight year, the Bulldogs finished second nationally in the NJCAA Division III national golf championship in Chautauqua N.Y. that concluded last Friday.
GMC trailed eventual and defending champ Sandhills (N.C). by nine shots after the first round, and 18 after the second. Sandhills finished 12 under, while GMC was 36 over.
The Bulldogs finished way ahead of DuPage, Ill., which was 73 over.
Brady Wentz led GMC with a 294, finishing fifth. Perry Grad Caden Camp took 15th with a 305.
Henley battles consistency issues
The Muirfield Village Golf Club in Dublin, Ohio seems to be toying with Russell Henley.
The Stratford grad struggled all day Saturday, dropping 10 spots into sole possession of 30th after a 2-over 74.
Henley couldn’t get under par, thanks to five bogeys, including two in the final three holes. He had some issues staying out of roughs or bunkers, and couldn’t get on much of a good run.
While he’s 12 shots behind leader Scottie Scheffler, a decent day – Scheffler survived a triple bogey on No. 9 – could lift him to a top-10 finish.
He tees off at 11:05 a.m., with Keegan Bradley.
