Griffin (1-24/1-15) tied it with six in the fifth, and Howard (8-13/6-9) won it with four in the fifth. Jayden Washington, Gavin Williams, and Jackson Smith each had two hits, Washington with four RBI and three runs. Starting pitcher Landon Daniels fanned 10 with a walk in 4.1 innings. Darkness ended the game after six innings.
