The Vikings took control with four in the fourth. Gavin Spillers and B.J. Hughes each had three and two RBI hits for FPD, Garrett Veal with two hits and Jackson Moore with two RBI. Cooper Baskette and Mekhi Lyder combined for four of Stratford’s four hits. The Vikings clinched the region regular-season title and playoff top seed with the win.

GMC 17, Twiggs County 0

The Bulldogs put up 15 in the first of the three-inning game. A dozen Cobra errors led to 14 unearned runs, GMC needing only six hits. One was a grand slam from Bryce Smith.

Westfield 11, John Milledge 10

Will Johnson’s double to right brought in Hardy Hudson with the tie run, and R Powers’ 2-1 single to right scored Johnson with the walk-off game-winner in the bottom of the seventh. Ryan Powers drove in six runs on four hits, and Cole Miller four on two. Hudson, Johnson, and Grey Brannen had two hits each for the Hornets.
