          The Royals got control with four runs in the fourth, to survive a few errors. Caleb Senters and Eli Mullis had two RBI each for Bleckley County. Mullis struck out 12 in a complete-game five-hitter. Hunter Hays had two of Jasper County’s four hits.

George Walton 5, Putnam County1

Jeff Davis 2, Dodge County 1

          A run in the fourth lifted Jeff Davis in the pitchers’ duel, with the Indians getting no-hit.

Lamar County 7, Taylor County 2; Lamar County 5, Taylor County 4

          Ayden Hollis and Brayden Pines had two hits each in the opener for Lamar County, which survived five errors. The Trojans were strong late to win the nightcap, with three in the fifth and one in the sixth. Kale Bryan, Nathaniel Tidwell, and Hutson Traylor had two hits each for the Trojans, while Nathan Patterson and Rhett Harris had three hits apiece for Taylor County.

Mary Persons 14, Peach County 3

          The visitors led from the start, 7-0 after four and adding a seventh-inning touchdown. Eric Snow and Thomas Brooks had three hits each, Snow with three runs and Brooks with four RBI. Brady Christman added two hits and three RBI, Ian Lewis two and two and Tristan Hunt two and three. Bryce Harrelson had two of Peach County’s five hits.

Northside 16, Westside 0

Pike County 6, Upson-Lee 1

          Even Helms had two hits for Upson-Lee.

Strong Rock 8, FPD 3; FPD 7, Strong Rock 6

          Strong Rock broke a 3-all first-inning tie and slowly pulled away in the opener, outhitting FPD 11-4. Gavin Spillers had a three-run homer for FPD. Five runs in two late innings lifted FPD in the nightcap. Spillers had two of FPD’s five hits, the Vikings winning despite striking out 12 times. Five runs were unearned.

Tattnall 9, Mount de Sales 8

          The Trojans scored three in the top of the seventh for the lead and blanked the Cavs in the bottom half. Cooper McMullen, who opened the top pof the seventh wit a single, ended up scoring on a wild pitch, and Clay Rowland’s RBI single tied it, a two-out error giving Tattnall the lead. Releiver Gabe McGreggor gave up two two-out hits and got a grounder to himself to end it. McMullen had two hits and Rowland two RBI for Tattnall, Jordan Green had three hits and four RBI and Bricen Smith four hits and three runs for the Cavs.

Veterans 18, ACE 9

The Warhawks put it away with seven in the final two innings. Hunter Dryden went 5 for 7 with four RBI and three runs for Veterans, while Tanner O’Neal added three hits, and Brennan Mercer and Jamey McDaniel had two-hit/three-RBI games. JD Lewis led ACE with three hits and two RBI.
