Central Georgians wrestled for the three state titles on Saturday at the GHSA state traditional wrestling tournament at the Macon Coliseum.
And Central Georgians won three state titles at the Coliseum.
East Laurens’ Trysten Baker, Tattnall’s Grady Tisdale, and Northside’s Beyonce McCollumn left the Coliseum as champions.
Baker stormed through the weekend with falls of 1:46, 4:55, 3:31, before winning by injury at 4:35, while trailing 11-6 at the time.
He finished 44-4.

Tisdale’s competition grew better, from a 16-0 win to 11-3, to 4-3 over Brayden Phillips of Commerce in the finale, handing Phillips his first loss in nine tries.
Tisdale finished the season 20-3, winning the ttiel after finishing third last year at 160.
McCollum finished second last year at 172, and needed little time early on with pin of 49 seconds and 1:16 before winning 6-2 and then 11-6 over Kha’Nijua Avery of Chattooga, to finish the season 22-3.
