Bacon fall back into losing column
Lexington County took a 3-0 lead after two and kept rolling to a 6-1 win over Macon in Coastal Plain action at Luther Williams Field.
Trippe Moore (Mary Persons) had two of Macon’s five hits, as well as one of the Bacon’s four errors.
Macon pitchers struck out nine with three walks to 11 and six for Lexington County.
Macon visits Savannah on Friday and hosts the Bananas on Saturday.
