Savannah tops Macon
Macon’s 2-0 lead after two innings and leads later were erased by Savannah’s four-run eighth en route to the Bananas 7-5 win at Luther Williams Field.
Tyler Epstein had two hits for Macon. Former Veterans standout Jacob Pierce had a hit and run for the Bananas.
Macon is at Savannah on Tuesday and Florence on Thursday.
