          The visitors led 5-3 after one, extended the lead a little, and sealed it with four in the top of the seventh. Gavin West, Chandler Mitchell, and Brayden Nesmith had two hits each for ACE, West with three RBI and Zane Johnson with two.

Bleckley County 14, Jones County 4

          Connor Senters drove in four runs and Brody Little three for the Royals in the 4.5-inning game. J.R. Fordham and Matt Huff had two hits each. Little, Eli Mullis, and Carter Brannon gave up only four hits.

Central 6, Peach County 5

          The Chargers trailed 3-1 before a five-spot in the top of the fourth put them ahead. Peach County answered with one in the bottom half, and the Chargers held on. Bryce Harrelson had two hits for the Trojans.

Dodge County over Southwest, two forfeits

Gatewood 6, Thomas Jefferson 3

Houston County 7, Northside 0

          Brodie Chestnutt whiffed 11 with no walks and four hits, boosted by a three-hit night from Chris Le, and two hits from Gage Harrelson, Christian Davis, and Trent Ringer.

Jasper County 11, Washington County 10

          Justyn Fields sent a 1-2 pitch to left for a two-run single and a walk-off win for the Hurricanes. Cole Hayes walked and Mac Barton singled, and they advanced on steals, strolling in on Fields’ hit. The Hurricanes needed the heroics despite outhitting the Golden Hawks 15-6, the teams combining for nine errors. Six Washington County runs were unearned. Tristan Humphries led Jasper County with three hits, Hayes, Barton, Fields, and Hunter Hays with two hits each. Cyler Bloodworth had two hits and three RBI for Washington County.

Jeff Davis 17, East Laurens 2

Jefferson County 10, Putnam County 4

          Jefferson County led 5-2 after six but put it away with five in the top of the seventh. Jacob Grimes and Ashton Jones had three hits for Putnam County, Chase Lupton and Logan Merritt with two hits each.

John Milledge 10, Bethlehem Christian 0

          The Trojans wrapped up the GISA 4-AAA title with the win.

LaGrange 16, Windsor 13

Mount de Sales 11, GMC 1

          A close game, 1-1 after four innings, became a rout with the Cavs’ nine-run fifth as head coach Bubba Pool got his 100th win. MDS got two-hit games from Jared Diaz, Thomas Smith, Fernando Washington, Carson Craig, and Elijah Freeman. Kyle Shaughnessy went five innings for the win. Christian Black and Tyler Saunders had two hits each for GMC.

Pike County 8, Mary Persons 1

          Mary Persons got one in the first in a game with the region title on the line, but Pike Countyput up for in the third and rolled to the championship. The Bulldogs were only outhit by one and Pike County left three more on base.

Southland 10, Fullington 0

Stratford 16, Deerfield-Windsor 4; Stratford 17, Deerfield-Windsor 7

          The Eagles led the opener 5-0 after two. Jase Smith drove in four runs on three hits, two doubles, and Waldon Davis had three hits and three runs. Jimmy Bowden and Cooper Baskette added two hits, and Lawson Cole fanned eight in an 83-pitch complete game. Stratford trailed 3-0 after two in the nightcap before a seven-run third changed things, with a nine-run sixth ending it. Mikah Takac and Steson Hatcher had three hits each and teamed for five RBI. Bowden drove in four runs on two hits, and Cole and Nate Slappey had two hits each.

Taylor County 6, Manchester 5

Upson-Lee 2, Crisp County 1

          A double by Jordan Wainwright and single by Austin Hendricks brought in Steven Marriage and Wainwright with the Knights’ runs in the sixth. Wainwright had two hits for the Knights, who got 12 strikeouts from Jake Willis in the complete-game win.
