Henley slips, but doesn’t at Genesis
Russell Henley has lost four strokes in the first three rounds of the Genesis Invitational in California, but he’s not losing ground.
Then again, there is plenty of ground ahead of him, the Stratford grad sitting tied for 39th 11 strokes back of Sam Burns.
The third round was stopped because of darkness, Henley having finished but the with almost 20 golfers ahead of him not having completed the round. And scores weren’t improving.
Henley has shot 69, 72, and 73 for a 1-over 214, suffering a double-bogey on Saturday. He has only one more birdie than bogey.
