The Red Devils got a two-run single from Taylor Faulk in the second to get going. Savanna Dokey had three hits and Sam Lancaster two. Katelyn Newman went five innings for the win, and Makayla Edwards finished it.

Area 2-AAA: Pike County 3, Mary Persons 1; Jackson 3, Peach County 0 (25-7, 25-12, 25-11); Peach County 3, Mary Persons 2 (25-22, 16-25, 25-21, 20-25, 15-10)
Peach County beat Mary Persons for third in the region and to enter the GHSA state tournament as the third seed. The Trojans are 16-8.
