          T.J. Grant’s 17 points and Aaron Jones’ 16 led Veterans to its 11th straight win to open the season.

Washington County 68, Northeast 61

          Four players in double figures led Washington County to improve to 6-0/4-0. J.T. Thomas had 17 points, eight rebounds, and four assists, while Kejuan Bloodsaw had 13 points, six boards, and four asssts. Jairus Brown added 11 points and seven rebounds,  and Caleb Moore 10 points and nine rebounds. The Golden Hawks visit Jasper County/Monticello on Saturday.
