Macon offense wakes up in road rout

          Jordan Rathbone went 4 for 5 with four runs and two RBI to lead Macon to a 16-4 win in Coastal Plain League action.

         Robert Brooks and Cassius Young each had three hits, joining Rathbone for 10 of Macon’s 15 hits. Josh Hood added three RBI on one hit. Chris Rolick was the third of five pitchers and got the win. Starter Chace Harris whiffed five with no walks in four innings, the Macon staff recording nine strikeouts to a lone walk.

         The Bacon will be at home Saturday for an intersquad game and fireworks.
