Mike Soroka gave up four runs on nine hits in six innings, with four strikeouts and two walks, plus a homer.
Sean Newcomb threw two shutout innings, then A.J. Minter gave up a run on a one-out single, stolen base, and RBI single from Adam Eaton. A wild pitch, intentional walk and regular walk followed to load the bases with one out.

Atlanta pulled within 4-3 with two in the sixth on Brian McCann’s two-run homer with no outs, the Braves then managing only a walk after that in the inning.
