The Gryphons had the lead, lost it, and got it back to win with two in the sixth. ACE got an RBI double from Jonathan Jones and sac fly from Fisher Timms for the sixth-inning runs. Chandler Mitchell, C.J. Seymour, and Lem Thompson had two this each for ACE. Harrison Aulds went 4-for-4 and Parker Ingram 3-for-4 for FPD, Ingram with three RBI.
Bainbridge 8, Veterans 1; Bainbridge 7, Veterans 3
Four Veterans errors led to four unearned runs in the opener. The nightcap was tied early before Bainbridge eased ahead, aided by six Veterans errors for six unearned runs. Blake Etheridge fanned five in 4.1 innings for the Warhawks, who got two hits from A.J. Simpson.
Bleckley County 8, ECI 3
Central 12, Westside 5
Charles Jackson threw a five-inning no-hitter for the Chargers.
Coffee 9, Northside 6
The Eagles had little offense until a too-late five-run eventh. Levi Walker had two hits and two RBI for Northside.
Dublin 12, Southwest 4
It was a 3-2 game until Dublin put up four in the fourth to get rolling, aided by four Southwest errors. Dyllan Metzdorf drove in three runs, while Jordan Branham had three hits and Nick Sumner and Kendall Wade two each for the Irish.
Jones County 17, Dutchtown 9
Dutchtown led 6-4 after three, but a six-run fourth put the Greyhounds on top for good as they scored 13 in the final four innings. Dawson Barnes had a two-run double in the big inning, the Greyhounds getting RBI hits from Chase Wright, Seth Daniels, and Brandin Johnson in the fourth. Chapman had three hits and three RBI, with two-hit games from Wright, Barnes, Daniels, and Johnson. Barnes, Johnson, and CJ Whitehead drove in two runs each.
Mary Persons 6, Upson-Lee 2
Eric Snow and Cameron Claxton had RBI singles and then Alex Kite drove in two with a double in the Bulldogs’ four-run top of the seventh to win. Kite had three hits, Snow and Claxton two along with Thomas Willingham. Josh Keeter went 3-for-3 for the Knights.
Rutland 15, Kendrick 0
Tattnall 18, Mount de Sales 7
Tattnall and Trey Ham put it away in the middle innings. Ham went a monstrous 5-for-5 with six RBI, while Brooks Gorman was 4-for-5 with three RBI and three runs to lead the 17-hit parade. Miles Morris had three hits and four runs, and Carter Fink and Brett McHugh had two RBI each, Russ Miller and Deji Mack two runs each. Kobe Butts and Jackson Nebel had two hits each for the Cavs, Butts driving in four runs.
West Laurens 5, Howard 1
The Raiders got their runs in the third and fourth innings. AJ Mathis belted a two-run homer in the third. Scott Campbell had two of Howard’s three hits, the Raiders’ Colton Scott, Tyler Franks, and Bradley Wilson combining for nine strikeouts and two walks.
