Mayhem open the season with a tie, win
The season opener for the Macon Mayhem didn’t disappoint as as far as entertainment went.
But Fayetteville came up with the clutch play and the winning goal in overtime to knock off Macon at the Coliseum 3-2.
On Saturday, the defense was the key in Macon’s 2-1 win over Huntsville, Kevin Entmaa stopping 17 of 18 shots.
Macon welcomes Roanoke on Fridaya and Birmingham on Saturday.
