Friday's Braves Report: Freddie fires up
Freeman leads Braves to easy win
Freddie Freeman belted three doubles and had three RBI as Atlanta kept working for home-field advantage with a 10-2 win over Philadelphia.
Ronald Acuna and Johan Camargo each had three hits for the Braves, while Mike Foltyznewicz threw five good innings.
The rout added sting to the collapse of the Phillies, on a nine-game losing streak now and doomed to their sixth straight losing season. The Phils led Atlanta by 1.5 games in early July, and are 12 games back.
Foltynewicz gave upa run and a hit with no walks and nine strikeouts.
Hope springs eternal on Swanson
