Hurricane forces changes (to be updated)

          Hurricane Michael has already led to multiple changes with the state softball tournament schedules and put some plans on hold.

          All Georgia College athletics events for the week have been canceled or rescheduled. That includes two volleyball matches (at Valdosta State and at Albany State), two soccer matches, tennis and exhibition baseball.

          Region 1-7A has postponed this week’s football schedule, and the schedule is pushed back a week.

          Perry’s softball series at Thomson has been moved to Friday at 1 p.m., third game at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. (9 a.m. Wed.)
