UGA baseball dismisses Sasser after racial comments toward Fields
A few days after it became news that a Georgia baseball player continually directed racial comments toward Georgia quarterback Justin Fields, Adam Sasser was cut from the Bulldog baseball team.
Sasser was an all-SEC second team pick last year and would’ve been Georgia’s top returning hitter.
He was exposed to have said several racial things regarding Fields during Saturday’s win over Tennessee, surrounded by friends who reportedly just laughed, and ignored those who challenged them to stop.
Sasser also posted an apology on Twitter.
