Thursday's Braves Report: Acuna returns, injuries, full farm system, and more
Thursday's Braves Report

Acuna is baaaaack
The Braves activated Ronald Acuna on Thursday after a month-long visit to the 10-day disabled list.
He’ll be in uniform on Friday at St. Louis after a short stint in Gwinnett, where he went 3-for-21.
Acuna went out on May 27 with a mild tear in his left ACL after landing awkwardly on a sprint to first. He returns with a .265 aveage and a dozen extra-base hits.
Atlanta brought up Matt Wisler from AAA, sent Wes Parsons to Gwinnett, and plopped pitcher Brandon McCarthy on the 10-day DL with tendonitis in his right knee.

Folty could be moved up from Sunday and be on regular rest Saturday, but Snitker and #Braves like the extra rest when they can give it to younger pitchers. So I'd expect Fried to be brought up to start./DOB
Â
Snit had said Acuna will likely bat in the sixth or seventh spot when he returns. But his placement in tomorrow's lineup will depend on Inciarte, who felt some left oblique soreness yesterday./MB
