          It was a wacky game with Baltimore, but there are nuggets about disabled list transfers and the progress of that Acuna young ‘n.

 

Macon losing streak grows

      Macon’s lead was short-lived, and the Bacon battled back, but Lexington County survived three errors for a 7-5 home win.

      Lexington County got some control with two in the seventh for a 4-1 lead, then added three in the eighth before Macon matched that in the ninth.

     Macon had more runs than hits (three), led by Cal Gentry’s solo homer.

     Macon (7-11) hosts Florence (10-8) at 7 p.m. Saturday and Lexington County (8-11) on Monday.

 

 

A day-later look at the Hawks draft

          One review had them as winners.

          They were interesting.

          Some grades were mixed.

          The Washington Post grades everybody.

          GM Travis Schlenk changed plans after a leaked report.
