Trey Ham had 2 hits and Luke Laskey 2 RBI, boosting things for Brooks Gorman, who had 6 Ks and no walks in 7 innings. Locust Grove got its nightcap run in the seventh, but that was it. Laskey had 2 hits and Logan Simmons 2 RBI. Dawson Brown and Laskey did the work on the mount, Brown fanning 4 with no walks in 6.1 innings.

          Half of Baldwin's runs were unearned, thanks to 13 walks and 10 errors. The Braves led 6-2 after five until putting across 20 in the sixth. Dylan Sallad went 4-for-4 wih 6 RBI, C.J. Hurst and Anquez Thomas each had 2 hits and 4 RBI, and Victor Hill and Mike Jones had 2 RBI, Hill scoring 5 times. Erron Bolston added 2 RBI. Hill whiffed 9 in getting the win.

 

Bleckley County 11, East Laurens 1

          Clemson-bound Carter Raffield drilled a 3-run homer, and Chandler Abney added a solo shot in the region win. Shayne Cannon and Steven Knighton each had 2 hits and 3 RBI for the Royals, and teamed

up for a 7-hitter. Cam Oliver went 3-for-3 for East Laurens, and Chaise Donaldson added 2 hits. Cannon struck out 6 in 5 innings.

 

Central 19, Westside 9

          The Chargers led 8-2 after one and put it away with 5 each in the fourth and fifth, aided by 5 Seminole errors. Abry Evans went 4-for-4 with 5 RBI for Central, Charles Jackson scored 4 times, and Danny Lockette had 2 hits and 3 RBI and Jatavius Williams 2 RBI. Victor Burnett and Landon Emery had 3 hits for Westside, Malcolm Mayfield 2. Mayfield and Emery also had 2 RBI.

 

Dublin 18, Northeast 8

          The top 4 in the lineup - Zion Washington, Triquavious Moye, Kendall Wade, and Torian Holder - teamed for 10 hits and 11 runs, with Moye and Holder driving in 4 each. Trent Leroy had 3 RBI, Dyllan Metzdorf went 2-for-4 with 2 RBI, and Nick Sumner added 2 RBI. Half of Dublin's runs were unearned, thanks to 7 errors.

 

FPD 13, Mount de Sales 2

          The Vikings improved to 15-2 and 4-0 behind a 2-hit, 4-RBI game from Tyler Mimbs, plus 3-hit nights from Ryan Jones and Harrison Aulds, who also had 2 RBI, as did Gavin Bloodworth. Mimbs, Bloodworth, and Barrett Barkley were efficient, giving up 7 hits, striking out 6 and walking 3.

 

Gatewood 13, Westminster 0

          Reid Sasser went 3-for-3 with 2 runs and 2 RBI for Gatewood, while Brayden Hill and Will Dutton added 2 hits each, and Coop Hall, Jacob McMillian, and Josh McMillian 2 RBI each. Dylan Humphries fanned 4 in 5 complete-game innings.

 

Houston County 3, Valdosta 2

          An error by Lee County's catcher allowed courtesy runner Russell Simmons - in for Chandler Ring, who opened the inning with a walk - to score the walk-off game-winner, the situation advanced by an error on Dillon Toms' bunt. Corbet Luna had 2 hits for the Bears, who got solid pitching from Cam Jones, Chandler Dawson, and Ring, combining for 9 strikeouts.

 

Howard 7, ACE 4

          Leadoff batter Scott Campbell went 3-for-4, and Hunter Bell and Yeager Cameron each had 2 hits for the Huskies, who got 6 in the first and had 4 errors.

 

Kings Way 17, Covenant 1

          Ashton Whitesell and Harrison Gentry had 2 hits each for Covenant, which committed 10 errors.

 

Jackson 12, Mary Persons 7

          Mary Persons rallied with 5 in the fifth to pull within 9-5, but the Red Devils eased away. Christian Knight had 2 hits and 2 RBI for the Bulldogs.

 

John Milledge 10, Pinewood Christian 9

          ColtonBrewer went 2-fr-2 with 2 RBI, while Brandon Hunnicutt and Taylor Dixon also drove in 2 runs for JMA. The Trojans put 6 across in the fifth and held on, despite 4 errors.

          Colby Gordon and Brandin Johnson each drove in 3 runs on 2 hits, with Chase Green and Sammy Walton adding 2 RBI for the Greyhounds, who scored 8 in the first.

          Cody Guidry went 2-for-3 for the Eagles, who were down 5-0 after 1.

          The Hurricanes had a 4-3 lead in the nightcap until Rabun County scored 4 in the sixth. Hunter Duke went 3-for-4 with 3 RBI from the leadoff spot for Monticello.

          Peach County scored in the first and last innings, but Rutland's 2-run fifth and sixth were the difference. Riley Jones, Logan Moss and Taylor Brummett had 2-hit games for Rutland, which got a 5-hitter from Riley Jones and Aubrey Merritt.

 

Veterans 7, Bainbridge 0; Veterans 4, Bainbridge 1

          Cole Hooks and Daniel Hawthorne teamed for 9 strikeouts and 4 walks to throw a 4-hitter. It was a pitchers duel until the top of the seventh when Veterans scored 5 runs. Jacob Pierce had 3 hits for Veterans, while Leyton Pinckney and Derek Wylie drove in 2 runs apiece. In the nightcap, Ben Gibbs, Jackson Williams, and Wylie struck out 12 in throwing a 4-hitter, stranding 11 Bainbridge runners. Jacob Pierce had 2 hits for the Warhawks.

          Cory Bivins drove in 2 runs for the Bulldogs, who were outhit but had 2 errors. Jontavious Byner struck out 5 with a walk.

          An 11-run fourth inning was the difference, Harris County also having 10 more hits.

Jones County 8, Stockbridge 0

          Stockbridge had one more error than hits. JC was led by Jackson Mix and Brandin Johnson, who had 2 hits each. Johnson also drove in 2 runs, as did Ty Gordon. Colby Gordon whiffed 5 with 1 walk.

Peach County 7, Howard 5

          Astoundingly, the teams combined for more errors than runs, but Peach County scored two in the top of the ninth for the win. A walk, error, intentional walk and 2-run single by Cameron Rucker led the Trojans to the win. Howard pitchers struck out 11, but Howard batters stranded 11.

          A 2-run fourth was the difference with teams that had 5 errors. The Eagles had 2 hits, scoring in the fourth on a single, error, and balk.

          Cole Hays went 3-for-3 with 3 RBI and Baylor Edge 2-for-3 with 3 for the Hurricanes, Braden Lynch adding 2 hits. Both teams had 4 errors, but LOA walked 9 batters.

          Jacob Hunt's 3 hits and 2-RBI games from Clayton Davis, Trevor Dykes and Cameron Mashburn led the Panthers. Beau Bryant and Dykes had 2 hits each, John Micah Law scoring 3 runs.           OSC got 3 in the second and 2 in the fifth, and Covenant had a 12-5 advantage in hits, but stranded 6. Doug Pastor, Harrison Gentry, Drew Johnston and Jimmy Bentley each had 2 hits for Covenant.

          Jatavius Williams drove in 2 runs with 2 hits, and Abry Evans and Keenan Gibson had 2-hit games for the Chargers. Victor Burnett had 3 hits and Malcolm Mayfield drove in 3 runs with 2 hits for Westside, which also got 2 hits from Joshua Brown. Charles Jackson whiffed 13 for the Chargers.

          The teams combined for 9 errors, but the Indians had 13 more hits, doing most of the scoring late. Chip Burch went 3-for-5 with 5 RBI for the Indians, while Tyler Pruett was 3-4 with 4 RBI and Gary Pittman 3-for-3 with 2 runs. Ethan Rice, Chandler Davis, Kadin Burse, Andrew Lowery, and Daniel Coleman had 2-hit days for Dodge County. Chase Oliver and Cam Oliver had 2 hits each for EL.

FPD 7, Mount de Sales 4

          Gavin Bloodworth drove in 2 runs on 2 hits and Dalton Cox had 2 hits for the Vikings, Noah Takac striking out 10 in 6.1 innings for the Vikings. Four FPD runs were unearned, thanks to 3 errors. Walker Schofield, Carson Riley, and Clay Murphy had 2 hits for the Cavs.

          Seven errors hurt Putnam County, which gave up 4 unearned runs. Braden Lynch, Tyler Wages, Dylan Jackson and Ben Lynch each had 2 hits for Monticello, with Lynch, Wages, and Hunter Duke driving in 2 runs each.

Rutland 6, Peach County 5

          The Hurricanes were outhit by 1, but a 9-strikeout day from Wesley Key and Jonathan Harnist countered that. Key drove in 2 runs and Peyton McKinney scored twice for Rutland, which led 7-1 after 2. Britt Davis and Landon Davis had 2 hits each for the Trojans.

Tattnall 12, Stratford 1

          The Trojans went up a touchdown in the first inning and added one in the fourth, getting a Luke Laskey grand slam along the way. Austin Marchman added 3 hits and Brooks Gorman 2 RBI, while Laskey fanned 5 with no walks in the 5-inning complete game 1-hitter.

Taylor County 17, Dooly County o

          Only 6 of the Vikings' runs were earned, thanks to 7 walks and 8 errors. Gunnar Watson drove in 3 runs on 3 hits and Jacob Pounds 2 on 2 for the Vikings, who needed only 10 hits. Desi Lester had 2 of Dooly County's 3 hits. Watson teamed with Ezra Cummings for the 3-inning game.

Veterans 6, Houston County 3

          Derek Wylie drove in 3 runs and Ben Gibbs had 2 hits for the Warhawks, who got 3 in the fifth for 6-1 lead before Houston County got 2 in the sixth. Wylie, Cole Hooks, and Gibbs teamed for 11 Ks and 2 BBs for Veterans. Corbet Luna had 2 hits for the Bears.

          A pair of 4-run innings lifted Washington County. Bailey Vickers went 3-for-3 with 2 RBI, Aidan Cobb and Jackson Lanthrip adding 2 hits each. C.. H. Wright threw a 2-hitter in the 5-inning game.

          Cameron Claxton fanned 9 and gave up 1 hit in 5 innings to lead the Bulldogs, for whom only one run was earned, thanks to six Central errors. Alex Kite went 3-for-3 and Austin Mock 2-for-2 with 2 runs, while Ladondre Buckner was 2-for-3 with 3 RBI, Christian Knight driving in 2 runs.

          The Cavs took advantage of 5 errors and banged out four doubles to go with a Rossman Diaz solo homer. Walker Schofield and Landon Jernigan each had 2 hits for the Cavs, while Jackson Smith went 2-for-4 for the Golden Hawks.

West Laurens 4, Veterans 3

          Nolan Daniel struck out 10 and walked 1 in 5 innings to lead the Raiders in the pitchers' dual. The Raiders got 5 hits, the Warhawks 6, but Veterans stranded 10 runners. The Warhawks got 2 in the top of the seventh to pull within 1, but AJ Mathis survived 5 walks in 2 innings and got a fielder's choice grounder to end the threat. Daniel had 2 hits anad mathis 2 RBI. Jacob Pierce and Leyton Pinckney had 2 hits each for Veterans.
