Sara Rhett Farmer tied the game with a 3-pointer from the left corner after an offensive rebound, and after a timeout, Dodge County got open downcourt, missed a layup and was fouled, making the game-winning free throws with less than a second left. Farmer finished with 18 points, all on 3-pointers. Lyric Green led Dodge County with 28 points.

Bleckley County took advantage of a miss and a turnover to hit the game-winner in the final seconds. Galvin Hilburn led Dodge County with 16, Kyler Johnson added 15 and Jayden Stephens 14.

There was a little more than just a win and a region championship. Head coach Jamal Garman, a Demon alum, got his 300th career win at Warner Robins. Gabe Jacobs led the way with 22 points, with 14 points and 6 rebounds from DJ Strickland and 13 points from Justin Hill.
