Henley off to nice start in Hawaii
Russell Henley’s first round of 2025 was a good one, the Maconite shooting a 3-under 70 at The Sentry in Hawaii.
That’s good for a tie for 23rd with six others, including Jason Day, Victor Hovland, and Byeong Hun An.
Henley rolled through the front nine with a birdie and eight pars, followed a bogey on 11 with three straight birdies, then a bogey and birdie before closing out the round with two pars.
Henley and the group are six back of leader Tom Hoge.
He tees off Friday at 1:57 p.m. with Billy Horschel and Sungjae Im.
