Weather wins again in Central Georgia
It’ll be a very slow Tuesday night of area high school basketball, with school districts canceling classes with impending snow-like weather and cold temperatures.
Bibb, Houston, Monroe, Peach, Lamar, Laurens, Washington, Baldwin, Taylor, Wilkinson, Upson, Taylor, Jones, Crawford, Twiggs, and Jasper counties will nto be in school Tuesday.
Also out Tuesday: ACE Charter, Dublin City Schools, GMC Prep, Westfield, John Milledge, Piedmont, Gatewood, Brentwood, Covenant, Stratford, Mount de Sales.
Bleckley, Putnam, Pulaski, and Hancock counties, and FPD, Tattnall, Central Fellowship, Trinity Christian are releasing early but all activities are postponed. Some schools are also closing Wednesday.
Northside’s meet-and-greet with new head football coach Boone Williams has also been postponed.
