Abby Davis kept Upson-Lee in check, the Knights twice loading the bases and coming up empty. She had 2 hits and an RBI. Howard improved to 8-9 and 5-1 with its sixth straight win.

The Eagles broke a tie with 5 runs in the bottom of the sixth of the 9-error game. Madi Burch had 3 hits and 3 RBI for Northside, Brynli Burch wit h3 hits and 2 RBI. Kadence Cooley and Abigail Watson had 2 hits each. Addison Payne had 3 hits for Rutland.
Peach County 9, Spalding 1
A pitchers’ duel became a blowout when Peach County scored 9 runs in the bottom of the sixth, Spalding hanging in despite only 1 hit. Shaniyah Gibson fanned 10.
Perry 11, ACE 2, 5 inn.
The Panthers pulled away with a 5-run fourth, aided along the way by 3 ACE errors. Kamryn Fielder and Cason Gentry each had 2 hits, Gentry with 3 RBI and Fielder with 2, Chloe Davey scoring 3 times. Laney Bridges had 2 of ACE’s 5 hits.

The Warhawks made it a short game with 7 in the fourth. Rayven Hodridge had 2 hits and 2 RBI for Veterans, Bella Fendlay driving in 3 runs with a homer.
