Georgia HS football coaching legend Freeman resigns
Freeman spent four seasons at Southwest, from 1998-2001, and went 17-24. His winning percentage of 41.46 is third among seven Patriot head coaches with at least four seasons.
He went 3-2 against Dublin’s Roger Holmes, one loss in the 2019 state championship and won win in the second round of November’s playoffs, among the who’s who of current and past coaches Freeman faced at Brooks County (twice), Brunswick, and Southwest.
