          The defending state runners-up had little trouble in the 4A quarterfinal on the road, sparked by a 17/17 points-rebounds double double from Janaye Walker, to go with 3 blocks and 3 steals. Kassidy Neal had 15 points, missing her own D-D by a board. Jasmine Williams chipped in 10 points, Jamya Easley 7 rebounds.

          The Chargers seemed in control, leading 14-6 and 22-7 after two, only for the hosts to pull within 28-24 after three. Alaya Grane led the way with 18 points, 6 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals, Aniya Dugger adding 12 points, Frances Anyakudo 10 rebounds and Jazlyn Johnson 7 boards.

          Lyric Green went for 23 against the top-ranked team, Autumn Rhodes adding 14 and Paige Ingram 10. Dodge County finished 23-5.
