Richmond Academy (2-8/2-5) was on the verge of the home upset over a team contending for a high seed, until that playoff team finished like one. Richmond Academy went up 23-21 early in the fourth quarter on a punt return and conversion. The Musketeers, who turned it over on downs at least twice, missed a field goal with 3:16 left in the game. The Braves (6-4/6-2) moved, and got the lead touchdown on Kaiden Gibson burst off the left side with 1:45 left. Baldwin’s defense then stuffed the Musketeers comeback hopes, Jonathan Simpson and Jonquavious Russell teaming on a sack for a loss of 17 on Richmond’s final possession.
