Tanyon Stella led the Lancers with 23 points, while Trey Bradley added 19 – after a scoreless first quarter – and Judson Walls 17. Reed Barr had 19 and Jeff Denny 10 for the Knights, who dug into a 16-7 first-quarter and 36-17 halftime hole. CFCA went 14 for 25 at the line, Windsor 9 for 18.

Area girls team fall in GHSA duals first round
Central Georgia’s three representatives in the GHSA girls state wrestling dual struggled to get going Friday.
Putnam County lost 63-9 to Greenbrier, Houston County fell to Lumpkin County 54-30, and Northside was dropped 72-12 by Gilmer.
Houston County eliminated Putnam County 36-36 (tiebreaker) and Northside was knocked out 52-30 by Campbell in consolation action. Houston County opens Saturday with Gainesville.
