          Games of the week

No. 5 Warner Robins, 1-2, at Dutchtown, 1-3
Is Warner Robins the team that stormed back in the second half against Northside, or the team that was outscored 28-9 in the second half at Valdosta? Is Dutchtown the team that thumped 7A Tift County by 36, or the team that lost by one to defending 3A runner-up Cedar Grove?
TSR pick: Warner Robins by 11

4A No. 4 Perry, 2-1, at Peach County, 0-3
For years, this was a “rivalry” in geographic name only. Only. The Trojans own it, 33-10. And Perry broke through last year, but big, 35-7. The numbers were almost silly. A rerun of 2022 seems imminent, with the Panthers as the more skilled and more physical team.
TSR pick: Perry by 24

ACE, 4-0, at Northeast, 2-1, Thompson
The Raiders scored in the final seconds of the second quarter last year for a 20-14 lead. One wonders how they’d have handled trailing ACE at the half. The calm Raiders kept the momentum with a 21-0 third quarter. The teams are similar. If ACE can lead at the half or later, it’ll be a four-quarter game. If Northeast gets control early, it’ll be close to a rerun of last year. Regardless, it’s the most notable game between Bibb County schools – the winner hops into the region driver’s seat, at least for a week or two – in awhile. Both will make the playoffs.
TSR pick: Northeast by 15 (upset alert)

Stratford, 3-0, at St. Anne-Pacelli, 3-1
The rematch of the GIAA 4A title game makes Stratford travel. Pacelli is again 3-1, with a different loss. Stratford is again 3-0, winning convincingly. The Vikings led 21-0 before the Eagles’ fourth-quarter score. It’ll be closer.
TSR pick: Pacelli by 9
