          The Huskies improved to 2-0 after scoring 42 points in the first quarter en route to their first shutout since beating Southwest 35-0 in the second game of the 2021 season and fourth in program history. Howard scored at least 30 points for the third time – all three under head coach Paul Carroll – in setting a program record for points scored and margin of victory. Howard has scored 98 points in two games, passing the season total in 2010, 2012, and 2016, and is off to its third straight 2-0 start.

Kelly Blackmon and Demechia Walker led the Trojans over Brooks County, Blackmon with eight aces, five kills and three blocks, Walker knocked down four aces, three kills and two blocks. Ny’Ayla Tillman led Peach County against Crisp County iwith three kills. The 2-2 Trojans join Heard County at Pike County on Tuesday for a tri-match.
