The list of Central Georgia’s top returning receivers will likely be mighty familiar at the end of the season.
Of the 11 schools represented, seven have their quarterbacks back. One that doesn’t has a transfer who was a starter elsewhere in Central Georgia last year (Perry’s Colton Ginn, from Peach County).
Stats are from MaxPreps, and are based on information provided by individual schools. Many schools don’t report stat information to MaxPreps, and many don’t regularly update those stats, or only update some stat categories.
Expect more from this list, as well as new names, to hit the 1,000-yard mark, with a few a safe bet to approach 1,500 yards.
Four of the top 15 are in Region 1-6A, three in Region 2-AA and two in Region 2-5A.
Note that No. 15, Zion Ragins of Jones County, has committed to Oklahoma, and look for his numbers to jump with better health on his part and more consistency at quarterback.
Others who have made decisions: Dakarai Andrson and Kale Woodburn with Cincinnati, Ricky Johnson to Stanford, and Cam Flowers to Western Kentucky.
