Baldwin’s Jazmine Walker signed to compete in track and field at Albany State.
Remya Williams of Howard isn’t heading too from home, signing to play women’s basketball at Central Georgia Tech, joining teammate Aniya Barron and Jones County’s Kimmya Epps..
The CGTC men’s team recently signed Jourdan Howard of Westside for basketball.

Henley ranked 20th heading into FedExCup playoffs
Once again, Russell Henley enters a notable tournament with the momentum of a quality four days and questions about a late stumble.
Henley is ranked 20th in the FedExCup rankings and 29th in the Official World Golf Rankings entering this week’s first PGA Tour playoff tournament, the FedEx St. Jude Championship in Memphis.
Henley tees off Thursday at 12:20 p.m., and is playing with Sam Burns and Emiliano Grillo.
He missed last year’s cut with a 1-under 139, and has failed to advance to Saturday three times in 10 tries. He finished tied for eighth in 2020 (at The Northern Trust).
Henley hasn’t done well at TPC Southwind, missing three of five cuts, yet finishing seventh (2015-16) and 27th (2013).,
Henley ranks first on the tour in driving accuracy and scrambling from the fringe, fourth in scrambling from the rough, ninth in putting from 10-15 feet, 16th on par 4s, 19th in scoring average, 22nd in scrambling,
But he’s 84th n putting average, 108th in approach greater than 200 yards, 123rd in putting, 125th in sand save percentage, and 162nd in driving distance.
Henley has taken home $4,977,496 in prize money this season, good for 27th.
