A seventh-inning rally in the opener wasn’t enough, and there was no rally in the nightcap, Florence beating Macon 6-5 and 5-1 at Luther Williams Field.
The Bacon outhit the Flamingos 13-6 in the opener, led by Antonio Brown’s three hits and two RBI. Macon stranded the tying run at second.
