          Middle Georgia State’s Becca Hewitt cracked the 100-win mark on Saturday as the Knights’ head softball coach.

          Ryan Wilson became the baseball program’s all-time RBI leader with 141, passing Andy Mocahbee.

GIAA state team tennis starts Tuesday

          Tennis teams from around the state will converge on Macon on Tuesday with the start of the GIAA team tennis tournaments.

          Class AA will be held at the Randy Stephens Tennis Center/South Bibb Recreation Complex and Class AAA at John Drew Smith Tennis Center.

          Action begins at 10 a.m.

          Each group has 12 teams, with four first-round byes.

          Central Georgia’s first-round pairings:

          Class AAA girls – Stratford vs. Heritage; FPD, bye

          Class AAA boys – Deerfield-Windsor vs. FPD; Stratford, bye

          Class AA girls – Covenant vs. Oak Mountain; Brentwood and  Trinity Christian, byes

          Class AA boys – Fullington vs. Notre Dame; Brentwood vs. Robert Toombs; Trinity Christian, bye

          Admission is $12 for adults and $10 fofr students
