Henley survives bumps to make the cut

Russell Henley was safely in. Then not. Then on the fringe, and then out. And finally in.

Henley had finished with a 3-over for the day and was two over after two rounds. And he watched the cutline fluctuate, finally settling at 2 over, allowing him to keep playing.

But he’s not entering the third round with much momentum, tied for 65th.

On his first nine, Henley had three bogeys and two birdies. Then he was fairly cruising in the second nine with a birdie and pars through the first six holes, only to finish with a bogey and double bogey and then a par.
