Mount de Sales grad Adam Leverett has been sent by Philadelphia to Tampa Bay for cash and Michael Mercado. Leverett, who played at Gordon State, was drafted in the 15th round in 2019. In four minor-league seasons, Leverett is 10-21 with a 4.29 ERA, 254 strikeouts and 99 walks in 256 innings, with an opponents’ average of .256.
