          The Gryphons racked up an astounding 22 runs in the first inning, and finished with 13 hits, aided by nine Southwest errors. They needed two innings in the nightcap, the Patriots with 10 errors. Reese Thames went 3 for 3 with four RBI, Lizzie Bridges 2 for 2 with three runs and tow RBI.

Bleckley County 17, Jefferson County 2
          Marle Jarrell went 3 for 3 to lead Bleckley County, which was tied with Jefferson County 1-1 after one. A seven-run second put it away. Jarrell and Emmie Williams led the 17-hit attack with three hits each, Ternazia Elvine and Williams driving in three runs each.

Houston County 14, Veterans 0, 3.5 inn.; Houston County 8, Veterans 0, 4.5 inn.
          Kinley Snider drove in five runs for the Bears in the first shutout, including a three-run first-inning homer. Clair McArthur, Abbie Havard, Arianah McKenzie, and Haley McElroy had two-hit games for the Bears. Jacy Harrelson brought in five runs on three hits in the nightcap, a three-run double sparking a six-run third.

          A 10-run third paced Jones County, which was led by three-hit games from Leah Betts and Rylie Faulk.

          The Jaguars went up 10-0 after three, the Huskies fought back with six in the bottom of the third, only for Spalding to seal it with five in the top of the fourth. Abby Davis, Nakeria Mallory, and Anna Nash each had two hits for Howard (10-11/5-6), which hosts Hawkinsville Wednesday.

Swainsboro 20, Dublin 1

Tattnall 10, Stratford 6
          Caroline Patterson belted two homers and drove in three runs to lead the Trojans, who led 7-0 after three. Patterson, Isabelle Pecorilli, and Olivia Bridger had three hits each for Tatntall. Graci Kluge, Ella Britt, and Reagan Ray had two hits each for Stratford.

          Madison Hammock’s single to left brought in Emmy Dehem with the winning run in a walk-off, Dehem leading the inning off with a single.

          Alexia Heyward, Uzzhia Rumph, and Kelly Blackmon teamed for 12 aces in the second match for Peach County, whose season ends at 8-14.

          The Eagles’ season ends in the first round of the GIAA playoffs.
