FPD trailed 5-2 after two innings, the teams went back and forth with big innings late only for the Vikings to put four across in the bottom of the seventh. Kaylee MacDonald’s one-out triple brought in Annaleigh Lowrimore and Sophie Willford, and then Sarah Grace Strickland doubled in MacDoonald and Addison Arnold. Strickland drove in four runs. She had two doubles, and MacDonald had a double and triple. Natalie Sills had four hits and Kindall Ward three for the Gators, each scoring three runs. S

Howard put five up in the first inning and survived four errors. Abby Davis went 2 for 4 with an RBI, also getting the win with six strikeouts. Howard (4-4/2-1) hosts Central on Wednesday, while Griffin is at West Laurens on Thursday.
