Signings
Austin Quillian and Lurner Benton of GMC JC have signed to play men’s golf at Georgia College. Quillian finished fourth and Burton seventh in the NJCAA Division III national tournament last month.

Macon sweeps Lexington County
The pitching and defense came through strong as Macon swept Lexington County 2-0 and 2-1.
Macon struck in the sixth inning of the opener with two runs, coming on hits from Kyle Bork and Jared Weber. Cameron Crosby had two of Macon’s six hits.
Peyton Cariaco went all seven, striking out five with no walks and five hits for the win.
Jack Malone and Crosby had run-scoring singles in the fifth inning of the nightcap, the Blowfish getting on back in the top of the seventh. Shane Wilhem avoided further damage in the seventh for the save, Veterans grad and Middle Georgia State pitcher Hunter Varnadoe getting the win.
Macon hosts Lexington County on Tuesday and is at Savannah on Wednesday.
