Bibb County adding girls flag football
A few weeks after a clinic sponsored by the Atlanta Falcons was held at Southwest and county athletics director Kevin Grooms said as much, the Bibb County School District made it official Monday that girls flag football is coming to town.
More than 300 kids from around the state participated in the clinic in late April.
Donations from the Falcons and NFL through the Bibb County Education Foundation will help with costs.
There are six public high schools in the county: Central, Howard, Northeast, Rutland, Southwest, and Westside.
