Houston County 14, Northside 1

          Andrew Dunford went 3 for 3 with four RBI in the 4.5-inning game. Kaden Galason and Camden Hicks adding two hits each, and Hicks, Hunter Chiappetta and Bryce Parrish with two RBI each. Dunford went three innings and struck out four with no walks. Dalton Cohen had two hits for Northside. Ryker Chavis, Carson Small, and Landon Tankersley teamed for a five-hitter in the nightcap, with nine strikeouts and two walks. Kaden Galason had a triple and homer with two RBI and two runs, Dunford following with another 3-for-3 game.

Jasper County 4, Washington County 1

          The Hurricanes went up 4-0 after two. Tres Cohen and Ethan Lynch had two hits each for Jasper County, Cohran with two runs and Lynch with two RBI. Cyler Bloodworth and Collin Waller had two hits apiece for Washington County.

Jeff Davis 3, Bleckley County 2

Jefferson County 10, Putnam County 8

          The seventh inning was loaded with action, Jefferson County taking a 10-6 lead with five runs and Putnam County rallied for two in the bottom half. Jefferson County got two straight outs with the bases loaded. Mark Winslette, Hunter Holder, Drennan Millwood, and Thad Griffith had two-hit games for Putnam County.

Lamar County 17, Northeast 2

          The Trojans needed only four innings, thanks in part to six errors and nine unearned runs. Brayden pines went 3 for 4 with three RBI and three runs to lead Lamar County. Rhett Blount, Talon Dender, and Jaden Banks had two-hit nights and two RBI each, Nathaniel Tidwell with two RBI.

Pacelli 3, FPD 1

Perry 10, Howard 8

          The visitors broke a 7-all tie with three in the top of the seventh, and stopped Howard’s rally in the bottom half at a run. Bradley Parrish, Kameron Vandersee, and Tyler Newhouse had two hits apiece for the Panthers, who got RBI hits in the seventh from Newhouse, Alex Scarborough, and a run coming in on an error. Gavin Williams had three hits and Andrew Garnett, Trevor Grimes, and Nate Campbell two each for Howard.

West Laurens 9, Spalding 2

          The Raiders did late-game work, in the fifth and sixth innings. Jace Thompson had three hits and five RBI for the Raiders, Matthew Thigpen adding two RBI. Gunnar Jeffers, Tucker Brown, and Jace Clark teamed for a three-hitter.

          FPD’s Coleman Cauley signed Friday to play football at Navy.

          ACE had some signings on Friday: Tate Turner with Sewanee, University of the South; Shelby Epperson with Bob Jones U.; J.D. Lewis with Spalding U.

          Howard had a pair of football signings on Friday, Christian Edwards to Fort Valley State and Jaylen Parham to Clark Atlanta.
