          A 12-run second and seven Twiggs County errors made it a three-inning game. Cody Colter had two hits and two RBI for the Gryphons, who took advantage of seven errors and seven walks and nine unearned runs.

Bleckley County 15, Northeast 0; Bleckley County 14, Northeast 1

          Buck Hill went 3 for 3 with five RBI to lead the Royals in the three-inning opening win. Dawson Chapman, Caleb Senters, and J.R. Fordham had two hits each, Carter Brannon striking out eight in three innings.

          Coleman Cauley drove in two runs for the Vikings, who sealed it with two runs in the fifth. Hayes Bryant went six innings and Cauley one, teaming for nine strikeouts and two walks and a one-hitter for FPD (13-3/6-1).

GMC 15, Wilkinson County 0

          It went 2.5 innings, the Bulldogs getting three hits from Cayden Avant and two hits from Christian Black, plus four RBI from Jason Heaybeard.

Gatewood 19, John Hancock 2

Houston County 14, Valdosta 6

          Gage Harrelson and Drew Burress each went 4 for 5 in the first two spots in the lineup, Burress driving in eight runs, thanks to three homers, which put him in a tie for the single-season HR mark at Houston County. Andrew Dunford and Hunter Chiappetta added two hits each.

Lamar County 8, Dodge County 5

          Five runs in the fifth put the Trojans in control, the Indians pulling close with some late runs. Nathanial Tidwell and Talon Dender had two hits, adding to Ayden Hollis’ three-hit night for Lamar County. Tye Moore and Braylon Mincey had two hits each, Mincey and Jason Lann with two RBI.

Marion County 10, Windsor 9

Mary Persons 15, Sumter County 0

          An eight-run third ended it after three. Brady Christman had three hits, with two-hit games from Eric Snow, Aric Mock, Ryan Jenkins, Ian Lewis, Jake Gore, and Gage Hopper. Christman had four RBI, Mock and Thomas Brooks three each. Jake Grant struck out seven of nine batters faced.

Peach County 3, Upson-Lee 2, 10 inn.

          Colter Ginn opened the 10th reaching on a dropped third strike, moved to second on Andrew Cliett’s sacrifice, and came in with the game-winner on Alex Christian’s single to left. Evan Helms had three hits and Jordan Wainwright two for Upson-Lee, Wainright striking out nine in six innings.

Putnam County 20, Laney 1

          Chase Lupton, Wesley Essick, and Thad Griffith each had two hits for the War Eagles, Essick with three RBI and Dakota Jones with two. Bryce Shorter and Drennan Vaughn combined for a three-hitter.

Strong Rock 14, Mount de Sales 3

          Jared Diaz had two hits for the Cavs.

Tattnall 5, Stratford 3

          Russ Miller cleared the bases with a two-out double in the bottom of the sixth to give the Trojans the comeback win.

Tiftarea 10, Northside 0; Northside 9, Tiftarea 8

Veterans 6, Coffee 5

          The Warhawks held off the Trojans’ late rally. Hunter Dryden had two hits for Veterans, which took a 6-3 lead with four in the sixth.
