Henley improves in second round, but โฆ
Russell Henleyโs second round of the Houston Open was better than his first, by two strokes.
That wasnโt enough.
The cut line was established at even, and Henley need to pick up some strokes and couldnโt, his even-par 70 not enough to keep him playing.
The missed cut comes in his first tournament after his fourth PGA Tour win, last weekโs World Wide Technology Championship.
Henley was basically all over the place on Friday, opening with two bogeys and then a birdie, then five pars and a biride to close the front nine.
The back nine started with there bogeys in the first five holes, and he closed with three birdies in a row.
He finished tied for 87th with a 142.
